The corresponding challenges in machining such surfaces can have different origins, from geometrical complexity, to surface finish quality requirements, to difficult material properties. We are dedicated to supporting you in realizing your specific geometry from the beginning with data preparation and analysis, mounting and fixturing, machining, and measuring. With over 15 years of experience, we have generated and inspected a large amount of different surface geometries in various materials for optical applications with different requirements of precision. Since the beginning, Ultra-precision diamond machining has been our core expertise to generate optical surface finishes. However, a number of adjacent technologies are necessary and have been expertly developed at Innolite in order to successfully realize your entire machining request. Starting from data analysis and machine program generation, we cover various pre-machining and high-precision milling processes, galvanic coating of inserts, direct coating of optics, and especially non-contact surface characterization. Although we are not an injection molding company, we have gathered valuable expertise over the years from the industry. Especially where the different steps in the production line interact – these events determine the overall quality and effectiveness of optics manufacturing.
