Fly-Cutting Adapter & Disc

The IL series ultra-precision machines use a NanoGrip sub-micron clamping system on the spindle for interfacing. Classically the workpiece is mounted to the spindle by means of the workpiece management portfolio. Alternatively, a fly-cutting adapter can be easily mounted to the spindle to be used for planar cutting, grooving or even rastering. The adapter interfaces to different fly-cutting disks with various diameters for the individual task. Tools with a Posalux interface can be mounted radially or axially.
