Tool setting artefacts

We offer two standard artefacts to take tool setting precision beyond the camera accuracy by means of test cuts. The stud geometrically represents a trimmed cone that is cut and inspected by a microscope for tool position interpretation. Alternatively, a sphere can be used for tool setting that is measured by an interferometer or a tactile scanning system. Both artefacts come with a standard NanoGrip interface or, alternatively with a lapped back side for vacuum chuck clamping.
